Elizabeth Storey, M.Ed., LPCS, NCC
Elizabeth Storey is a Licensed Professional Counselor and holds a Masters of Education degree in Counseling from Delta State University. She is also certified by the National Board for Certified Counselors. She is a Board Qualified Supervisor for counselors seeking licensure in the state of Mississippi.​ Elizabeth has experience in working with children, adolescents, and adults in individual and family therapy. She has worked in outpatient, inpatient, and partial hospitalization, and private practice settings. She has received certification in Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Trauma Focused Cognitive Behavior Therapy. She has also received advanced training in grief, depression, anxiety, Attention Deficit/Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD), and Behavior Disorders, and women's issues.
LaPortia F. Hence, MS, PLPC
LaPortia Hence has a Master's degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Jackson State University. LaPortia is a seasoned Provisional Licensed Professional Counselor with an impressive 5-year track record in the mental health field. Specializing in working with adolescents, children, and adults, she has honed her expertise in both residential and outpatient settings. LaPortia is characterized by her unwavering empathy and compassion, firmly believing that everyone deserves a safe space to been seen, heard, and valued. Her dedication to equipping clients with the essential coping skills to overcome adversity underscores her commitment to fostering growth and resilience in those she serves. LaPortia Hence stands at the forefront of counseling, bringing a wealth of experience and a genuine passion for empowering individuals on their journey to emotional well-being.
Emily Frye, MS, PLPC
Emily graduated from Grand Canyon University with a masters in the Clinical Mental Health program with an emphasis in Marriage and Family Therapy. She has clinical experience in private practice, and she is currently awaiting her provisional licensure.​
Emily is originally from San Diego, California where she obtained her bachelor's degree from San Diego Sate University in
Elementary Education. She is motivated to help teens, couples, families, and individuals through their challenges.
Emily also enjoys time with her husband, children, and family. She enjoys spending time outside with her family and three dogs.
Constance Powell, M.Ed., PLPC
Constance is a Provisionally Licensed Professional Counselor and holds a Master of Education degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Delta State University and Bachelors of Social Work from Rust College. Constance has 16 years of experience working with children, adolescents, and adults. She has worked in outpatient, inpatient, partial hospitalization settings as a case manager, therapist, supervisor, and utilization review specialist. Constance's theoretical approach to counseling involves Cognitive Behavior Therapy techniques. Her beliefs are building a strong rapport and creating a safe environment where individuals can be themselves. She has a passion to assist individuals with challenging negative or irrational thoughts that can hinder daily life.
Joe Passafume, MAR-PC, MDiv, MA, NCC, PLPC
Joe is a Provisionally Licensed Professional Counselor. He brings decades of experience to the counseling environment as a retired law enforcement officer, paramedic, Marine, husband, father, and grandfather. Joe is motivated to work with individuals and families to help improve or resolve concerns. Joe specializes with first responder challenges, medical professional stress, spirituality and religion, trauma, and career counseling. He is certified as a Solution-Focused Diamond Practitioner, Post Traumatic Growth Clinician, and also incorporates other theories and techniques such as Cognitive Behavior Therapy and Person-Centered Therapy.
